LASH-KIT-PRO sells at a loss

Raise it $2.00, pause it, or mark it clearance on purpose.
The independent profit copilot for TikTok Shop sellers
TikTok can tell you what it charged you, but never what you made, because it has no idea what your goods cost.
What you can see today
What Clarum shows you
The gap
Referral fee, shipping, affiliate commission, samples, refunds and their admin fee, and your own COGS. Add it up honestly and a shop that looks successful can be netting 2-5%.
That margin is your business. Clarum exists to make it bigger, and to make sure the rest never surprises you.
Official TikTok Shop APIs, read-only, with your authorization. No scraping. The app is in partner review; the first cohort connects when it clears.
The incumbent
Tracking profit in a hand-updated sheet is the right instinct. Here is where it breaks.
| The job | Your spreadsheet | Seller Center | Clarum |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fee rules when TikTok changes them | You update them, if you heard | Current, rarely explained | Versioned, applied as of each order's date |
| Refunds and reversals | A note to fix later | Netted into payout totals | Reversed line by line, admin fee included |
| Checked against the statement | Rarely, by hand | It is the statement | Within 1%, or it is our defect |
| Freshness | Stale by Wednesday | Live, but leads with GMV | Recomputed on every change |
How it works
Three steps through TikTok's official flow, read-only. The trailing 90 days import while you watch.
Revenue, every named fee, commission, samples, COGS, reconciled against your settlement statements. A gap over 1% is our defect, never noise to absorb.
At most three recommendations each morning, each with a stated because. No dashboard to babysit.
The product
Net profit is the first number on every screen. GMV is context.
P&L for every order, SKU and day, so the SKUs quietly losing money stop hiding. Product cost comes only from you: CSV, per-SKU entry, or the Cost API.
| SKU | Net / mo | Margin |
|---|---|---|
| GLOW-SERUM-30 | +$4,112 | 11.2% |
| HAIR-OIL-100 | +$1,204 | 8.4% |
| LASH-KIT-PRO | -$964 | -3.1% |
Never more than three items. What you mark done, dismissed or snoozed shapes the next brief.

What does TikTok take on a $25 order in my category?
At your 6% referral rate, $1.50, and that is the whole platform-fee story on a current US order: the $0.30 transaction fee was retired in April 2023 and there is no processing fee. What eats the order is shipping, commission and samples.

The settlement states the amount, not the reason, so Clarum will not invent one.

Questions
Not yet. Our app is in partner review and connections open when it clears. Nobody pays before their shop is connected.
No. Clarum is independent. Its advice answers to your margin, not to platform spend.
TikTok Shop's official authorization flow, read-only. You never type your TikTok credentials into Clarum. On connect it imports the trailing 90 days, then syncs.
Clarum never estimates product cost: a cost it did not receive is a cost it does not have. Until a SKU has one you get revenue, every fee itemised, and contribution before product cost. Costs arrive by CSV, per-SKU entry, or the Cost API, and are dated, so a June price rise never reprices March.
It marks a figure resting on a model rather than a confirmed record, such as a fee derived from the rate schedule before the settlement confirms it. What never wears it is an invented fact about your business.
Your shop data stays in your workspace, never shared with other tenants. The one narrow movement is text generation, under terms prohibiting training on it. Delete your account and the data goes within 30 days; the privacy policy is binding.
Not yet. Clarum v1 is built for US shops settling in USD, and rather than mislabel your currency it offers the waitlist.
Early access
A small first cohort of US TikTok Shop sellers. The Profit Audit is free, and safety-critical risk facts stay free on every tier.
US shops, USD settlement, for now. Tell us your category and monthly order volume; invites go out in order of fit, not arrival.
That is the whole pitch. The terms and the privacy policy are written to be read rather than survived.
